Current Work

Daughter of the Obsidian Moon

Daughter of the Obsidian Moon is a 120,000 words fantasy novel the first in a planned trilogy. It will appeal to fans of the slow-burn emotional tension in The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and the faith-driven conflict and epic atmosphere of The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon.

In a world where magic is fading and the aftermath of religious war still shapes every law, belief, and boundary, Aysel has learned to survive through control. She lives carefully—measured in speech, emotion, and presence—within a society where doctrine and history dictate who is safe, and who is not.

When she becomes entangled with Aekim, a Sun Child whose presence unsettles the fragile balance she has built, her precarious world begins to shift in ways she can no longer ignore.

This is my debut novel. Avid fantasy reader since primary school, I work in CGI and advertising, where I focus on visual storytelling and creating narrative-driven, emotionally resonant imagery across commercial and cinematic projects.

As old tensions resurface and fractures in the world widen, Aysel is forced into increasingly dangerous proximity to conflict, where faith is weaponized, loyalties are uncertain, and even intimacy carries consequences.

What begins as survival within a rigid system becomes a slow unraveling of everything she has been taught to accept—including the cost of devotion, and the danger of desire in a world built on belief and division.
